Popular Vietnamese folk opera performer Kim Tu Long may have gambled too long at a post-performance foray that is recent.
Bizarre in the West, proceedings have been initiated against well-known Vietnamese Cai Luong (folk opera) singer Kim Tu Long, after the entertainer was found gambling by police in Tra On District in the Mekong Delta, Vinh Long Province as it may seem to us. Just simple ol’ playing cards and dice and what could be considered relatively low stakes here had been sufficient to have the performer charged under Vietnam’s strict anti-gambling policy for citizens.
Caught Credit Cards for Money
Kim Tu longer is a well-known and performer that is popular of Luong, a theatrical type of modern folk opera which can be hugely popular with the population in southern Vietnam, particularly in the Mekong Delta. According to Senior Lieutenant Colonel Phan Van Minh, a deputy police chief in Vinh longer Province, the artist has now been charged with unlawful gambling, after he was found among 27 others who were all cards that are playing money on a barge anchored during the mouth of Tan Dinh Rivulet, after a performance in June.
Police raided the gambling band and arrested the 27 gamblers, which included two artists that are additional playing up to speed the barge on June 26th, and seized two decks of credit cards and 22 dice, along with 28 cellphones, VND443 million ($21,120), also as another $1,345 i
